How to watch ‘The Last Jedi’ in 60 seconds with 60 second countdown
It’s been a long time since a Star Wars film opened in cinemas, and with the release of The Last Jedi, it looks like we might finally have one in the coming weeks.
To help you get your fix of the latest in the saga, EW has compiled a countdown to see just how long it’ll take you to see it all.
First things first, let’s start with a refresher.
The Last Knight is the first film in the original trilogy, the first of the prequels, and it’s set on the planet Yavin 4.
Its opening day is March 16, 2020, meaning that it will take you at least 60 seconds to see the film, if not longer.
The countdown starts with a countdown timer, which you can view on the left of the image below.
Once that’s up, you’ll be able to click on the little clock to see how long the movie will take.
We don’t know when the countdown will stop, but for now, here’s what you need to know:You’ll need to be on a compatible device (iOS, Android, and Windows Phone, if you’re on Windows Phone 8.1)To make it even easier, EW also has a countdown bar to the right of the movie’s title.
Clicking on the bar will display a countdown counter, which shows how long you have to wait before you see the movie.
If you’re unsure if you have a compatible phone or device, just check out the chart below and click on “Try Me”.
You can also use the timer to check your battery life, if the movie has a streaming feature, or to see if the clock is going off.
It’s worth noting that the clock will also show the total amount of time that has passed since you last saw the movie, so you’ll need a quick glance to see what the total time is, as well.
To see how many seconds it’ll actually take you, click on this button: 60 secondsIf you have any other questions about the countdown, be sure to check out EW’s FAQ and our full review of The Force Awakens.
The Last Knight will hit theaters on December 15, 2018.
