How to save $3 billion on a farm

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue announced Wednesday that he is proposing a $3.4 billion farm credit, the first step in the Trump administration’s plan to create more jobs and economic growth in the agriculture sector.

Perdue also announced a $2 billion farm insurance program, the second step in Trump’s farm spending plan.

He also said that the $2.1 trillion farm bill will include $100 million for new food-producing equipment.

Trump, who has long called for a $4 trillion farm investment, said during the presidential campaign that he would use $3 trillion in federal funds to “create jobs and grow our economy” and he has promised to make a decision by the end of January on which federal agencies to cut.

Trump has promised the farm industry will be “faster and stronger than ever.”

The president has also called for $200 billion in farm spending.
