‘Mountain Man’ gets a holiday farm for Christmas
The man behind “Mountain Men” will be returning to his beloved hometown this Christmas for a holiday celebration.
The farm fire in the Catskills was not the only cause of celebration for the beloved actors, who will be reuniting with their friends and family on Christmas Day at the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival.
The Woodstock show will be held at the Great Western Theater in Los Angeles and the Hollywood Bowl will be the venue.
The “Mighty Mountain Man” star’s wife, Susan, will also be at the festival and she tweeted about the occasion.
The festival is expected to draw tens of thousands of people.
“Merry Christmas to the @TheWoodstock, the @WoodstockFilm Festival, the Woodstocks staff, the cast, the family, everyone who has worked with me over the years.
We have such great people and great memories here and I am honored to be part of this year’s fest,” Susan tweeted.
She also thanked the community and the cast and crew of “Mellow Hiker” for all of their support.
“I am thrilled to have so many friends and colleagues, from the @MellowHiker crew, who helped make this happen.
We are grateful for the love, support, and support we received,” she said.
The production is expected bring in up to $1 million for local charities.
“The Mountain Man,” who has been an American actor for more than two decades, has been on Broadway for more years than most, having played “the wise old man” to the iconic musical, “A Christmas Carol.”
He also had a starring role in the 2012 movie “Masters of Sex.”
